Snooot is a game, not an advertising business. We keep only what the game needs to work, we don't sell it, and we don't track you around the web.

What we keep

  • Your account: your email address, and your password, which we store scrambled so nobody can read it. If you sign up with Google, we get your email address and first name from Google.
  • Your snooot: its name, animal and coat, and how many sparkles it has.
  • What you make: your rooms, the furniture you own and where you put it, and the furniture you draw as a tinkerer.
  • Friends and chat: who your friends are, the requests you send, and what you say in a room's chat.
  • Being online: while you play, other snooots see which room you're in and where your snooot stands.

Why we keep it

To let you log in, to show your snooot and your rooms to you and to other snooots, and to keep Snooot a friendly place. Staff can read chat and see accounts when a snooot breaks the rules.

Who else handles it

  • Supabase stores the game's data and handles logging in.
  • Netlify serves the website.
  • Google, only if you choose to log in with Google.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you logged in and to remember your snooot's animal. No advertising cookies, no tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we keep about you, to correct it, or to have your account and your snooot deleted. Contact the Snooot team to ask. If we change this page, the date at the top changes too.
